I Am Poem

I am loving and free spirited
I wonder where I will be ten years from now

I hear voices from the havens
I see beautiful angels
I want to be successful
I am loving and free spirited
I pretend that I have wings
I feel like nobobody can stop me from achieving my goals
I touch the sky
I worry about my career path
I cry when I am emotionally and physically hurt
I am loving and free spirited
I understand when I can't always get my way
I dream about my future
I try to do what is right
I hope I get a full scholarship for college
I am loving and free spirited

My mother used to have

My mother used to have a pair of 14kt gold bamboo earrings with her name engraved in them . She wore these earring everywhere she went. One day she was called on an interview and was expected to be dressed in business attire. She knew that she couldn't wear her bamboo's on this interview but she decided to anyway. As she walked into the office where there sat 5 business men and women, she automatically attracted negative attention. During the interview one business man asked her about her selection of jewelery and she then said that those are the only pair of earirngs she ever owned. The guy shook his head and said " We will contact you in a week to two weeks to let you know if you have filled the position or not ." Weeks passed and she never recieved a phone call .

In this dream

In this dream I had the perfect life . I was a successful singer with three kids, a husband who was a doctor and a yorkie named Princess. My kids Zanai , Zola and Zayden were very spoiled and recieved everything they wanted. One day we came home after one of my concerts and saw an eviction notice on my door warning my family and I that I had three weeks to get all of my belongings and leave. I panicked, the "perfect" life I had was no longer perfect. I quickly had to down size on everything I owned. We had a massive garage sale and sold almost everything in my house. Soon after two weeks, we sold our house and moved into an apartment . It was a drastic change for my family but we managed and we appreciated what we had more now than ever.
