Lunch with a famous person

I would have lunch with Erykah Badu .

I want to ask her about the different songs that enjoy from her previous albums and what inspired her to write them, also the meaning behind them .

I would want to know about any hardships if any, that she gone throw or is going through and how she is able to overcome them.

Brothers and Sisters

I have a younger sister named Kyia Smith that is 11 years old and attends Lou Dantzler Middle School . She has an outgoing personality and enjoys drawing and sketching outfits. She also enjoys hanging with friends, shopping , and dancing . At times she can be moody , but when everything is straightened out she has a better attitude. Even though we argue at times I still have love for her.

Animal for a pet

I would have a Lepird as a pet.

My Lepird is tan and dark brown with spots covered all over and wings of an eagle on its back

I would keep it in a special cage in my backyard and let it out at times to fly around.

In the cage there will be a mixture of bird food and raw meat with a bowl of water.

To keep my lepird entertained I would buy toys that it could play with to keep her busy

My Journey on a Pirate Ship

"Cancun , Here we come ! " Ashley , Ameenah , Domo, and I shouted ! We were so excited about this trip for spring break and it was finally here. We were all packed up and ready to go for our trip the next day. As boarding the ship we saw the man collecting tickets wearing a pirate costume , we didn't think anything of it so we kept boarding the ship. Hours later we see the ship going in a different way other than our destination , we quickly go to the edge of the rail of the ship and see that the ship is going under a creepy pitch black tunnel , we all grab each other and go in a corner, while we are going under the captain says " Sit back in your seats , everything will be fine ". Ten minutes later there is light starting to enter into the tunnel we slowly look up and see a beautiful island . Cancun ! we shouted.

Ella's Restaurant

Ella's is a nice soul food restaurant located on Wilshire blvd. My father and grandmother are the cooks and the owners. The waiters are some immediate family members and close family friends. The menu consists of mac 'n' cheese , greens, mashed potatoes , cornbread , yams , turkey , ham , and dressing . For desert there will be lemon cake , red velvet cake and chocolate cake with your choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Ella's is hands down the best restaurant in town.

When I was brave

I had to be brave on my first trip to the dentist. I’ve always heard aboutnbad experiences from other people and how the dentist used big sharp objects just to clean your teeth. My mom set up an appointment for me before school started, so I knew it was something that I couldn’t get around. I dislike needles and sharp objects especially when it comes to a stranger having to put them in my mouth . I arrived to the office and there was man whose smile was as white as computer printing paper. He told me to follow him into the office and directed me to sit in the reclined baby blue seat. As I sat down I seen the needles and funny looking tools laying on this little tray. He came in and made some corny jokes that I didn’t find funny at all . my goals were to get out of there with no pain throbbing from my mouth. He reclined the chair back and said “Open Wide !”

If I had a hundred dollars

If I had a hundred dollars and I wasn’t able to keep it I would go and buy canned goods for the homeless or buy shoes for the people in Africa and ship a box of shoes to them. I would want and hope that they would take care of the things that I send them because it is all beneficial for them.

Dinosaur

If I seen a dinosaur in my backyard I would scream. To take care

of this problem I would go to a big party or magic shop and find a

huge ball , that way when I throw the ball at the dinosaur he

would chase the ball and never come back.

Something about the way she . .

Something about the way she held me in her arms and kissed me on my forehead before I left for school.

Something about the way she cooked her traditional meals every holiday.

Her scent, touch and smile melted my soul each time I was in her presence .

The day she went away was the day apart of me died inside

Something about the way she stayed in my heart and mind , that something and everything about my grandma will always stay in my heart .
